Starting a real conversation about suicide can be the most important thing you do for a friend or loved one. See the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for Warning signs and Risk Factors https://afsp.org/about-suicide/risk-factors-and-warning-signs/
If you think someone is thinking about suicide, assume you are the only one who will reach out. Here’s how to talk to someone who may be struggling with their mental health.
The Counseling Center will be administering a mental health needs assessment survey during the month of October. I’m looking for anyone, preferably within the WPU community, who has experience in translating from English to Spanish. We will pay $0.12/word. There are roughly 1,500 words. The deadline for completion is September 18th. I will be holding interviews throughout the next 3 weeks.
Contact person, Julia Garrison.
