Financial Literacy Month Contest

The Financial Literacy Month(April) contest where you could win a $50 Amazon.com gift card is almost to an end, but there are still a few activities that you can complete today (April 30) to earn your entries.

1. Complete a course on www.cashcourse.org/warnerpacific Click on eLearning at the top and then select Courses. Enter your name and e-mail and then complete the course and quiz.

2. Complete online quizzes (up to 5) at www.cashcourse.org/warnerpacific/quizes. Print and submit your score page with your name on it to Student Financial Services by Wed.

3. Locate your student loans by visiting www.nslds.ed.gov. Select Financial Review and log in. you will need your Federal PIN (the PIN you used to sign your FAFSA). If you forgot your PIN, you can request a duplicate PIN at www.pin.ed.gov. Click on each loan number and write down the name, phone number, and website of your loan servicer(s). All of your loans may or may not have the same servicers. Submit the information to SFS by May 2nd (Wed.).

We invite you to help! The Warner Pacific Marketing Department will be holding a photo shoot this summer for future promotional materials. Are you interested? Please respond to the e-mail address below explaining why you would be a good representative of our student population. Ideal participants will represent the success and contributions we see in so many of our students and graduates.

Moving and Checking Out 101

What you should know about the process

*    Residence Halls must be vacated by 2pm on Saturday, May 5th unless a summer housing contract is in place or a  Late Check Out Request has been filed with Student Affairs
*    Apartments/Houses must be vacated by 2pm on Sunday, May 6th unless a summer housing contract is in place or a  Late Check Out Request has been filed with Student Affairs
*    Obtain Express Check-Out Form in Office of Student Affairs or from Peer Assistant.

*    Check out is complete when ALL the following are accomplished;

·         ALL belongings, trash,  & rented furniture are removed from facility and appropriately disposed

·         Abandoned items will result in fines; donations can be made to the Missional Living Community

·         A blue Express Check-Out Form is completed including:

o   Completion of ALL appropriate tasks

o    Completion of roommate section

·         Repairs to facility NOT attempted

·         Key(s) are locked in the apartment with the blue check out form

Or

·         Key(s) are returned to the Office of Student Affairs/ Peer Assistant with blue form.

*Fines applied for failure to follow procedures.

*Damage fines are split between facility residents unless roommates communicate otherwise.

Summer CM 220

Do you need to take CM 220 Spiritual Formation but you are having a difficult time fitting it into your schedule? If so, then you might want to take CM220 this summer with Jess Bielman. It is being offered from 5-9 pm on Sunday nights from May 13 to June 24.
