It’s time for Spring 2022 Registration Review!

Dear Students,

Are you registered for Spring 2022? Do you need to make schedule changes?

The next two weeks (November 8 – 19) is Spring Schedule Registration Review. During this time, you are encouraged to connect with your advisor to review your spring semester schedule. This is a great opportunity to talk about your plans and make sure you are staying on track for graduation.

Writing and Formatting in APA Style Workshop

Academic Success is hosting a workshop to review academic writing and formatting as described in the APA Publication Manual 7th edition. The event takes place on Thursday, November 5th from 7pm-8pm. In this workshop we will cover:

  • Citations
  • Sources (primary vs. secondary)
  • Active vs. passive voice
  • Headers
  • In-text citations
  • Reference list
  • Verb tense
  • Bias-free language and pronouns
  • Cover page
  • Block quotes
  • Annotated bibliography

The workshop will be conducted on Zoom and recorded for those unable to attend. Please register at:

Excel Workshop – Wednesday, September 30th at 7pm – Zoom

The department of Academic Success is hosting a workshop to help you learn some basic tips and tricks for Microsoft Excel. This workshop is open to any WPU student who wants to learn how to use Excel or if you are looking to refresh your memory on some of the useful tools found within Excel. We will cover:

  • Copy, paste, find, replace
  • Cell formatting (borders, highlighting rules, resizing, merging)
  • Creating and using functions including – SUM, AVERAGE, CONCAT, UPPER, and LOWER
  • Sort and filter
  • Creating tables and graphs

We will record this session in case you are not available at this time.

Participants will receive an Excel file to use during the workshop. Please register at:

Fall Registration Begins This Week

Dear Students,

We are excited to announce it is time for traditional students to start registration for the 2020-2021 Academic Year.

  • April 6: Schedule Planning Available for ALL STUDENTS
  • April 6: Registration Available for Current WP Juniors and Seniors (60+ total credits)
  • April 13: Registration Available for ALL STUDENTS

Please contact your advisor to set up an advising appointment so that you can start planning for next year.

We are also excited to announce that we have new schedule planning and registration tools available to you. Please watch this video tutorial to learn how to use these tools:
